Haiku War: Round 1

that’s right ladies and gentlemen. A good ol’ fashioned haiku war. Some of you may know that Daniel prides himself on being able to write a clever haiku. You may also know that James and Daniel had a haiku war a while back. The votes are still being counted as to who won…
So the rules are very simple. If you read this blog, consider yourself officially challenged to the haiku war. I propose multiple rounds, judging by comments, and topics by comments. (We don’t want any pre-fabricated haikus). Simply post your haiku as a comment to this post, or on your own blog (but make sure to comment here so the judges will know that you’ve submitted a haiku for consideration)
Since I’m starting this war, I’ll also pick the first topic. THE FAIR.

round and round again
the little pigs are racing
wonder who will win
i wonder strange things
as i eat my deep-fried food
funnel cake, corn dog
reese cups, twinkies
honey cotton candy too
gotta love fair food
pay twenty five cents
to see the world’s biggest horse
do not pet it friend
i’ve been there, done that
it is not a pretty sight
funny though it is
i did not attend
i have seen this all before
my purse strings are tight
