Celebrating women at XxooÉ«ÇéƬ during Women’s History Month

XxooÉ«ÇéƬ London is today kick-starting a month-long celebration of women’s history, showcasing an array of engaging activities that weave together the past and present achievements of women associated with XxooÉ«ÇéƬ. 

It’s an opportunity to reflect on the brilliant women of XxooÉ«ÇéƬ, and to explore the role they have played in shaping the college’s legacy.

  • 75% of the student body at XxooÉ«ÇéƬ London identify as female 
  • 62.9% of XxooÉ«ÇéƬ staff identify as female

Women Pioneers of XxooÉ«ÇéƬ 

The college has today released “Women Pioneers of XxooÉ«ÇéƬ”, a new publication available in hard copy at all XxooÉ«ÇéƬ teaching centres, and online (download link below).

The booklet outlines a captivating narrative that spans from the visionary Founder Emma Cons to the current cohort of accomplished staff and students. 

Events, exhibitions, broadcasts and more 

On 28 March at the Waterloo Centre, Caroline Ings-Chambers will present a thought-provoking Penny Lecture titled “The Maltreatment of the Child Jane in Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre and Modern Standards of Child Safeguarding.” Click this link to book your free place.
